My sweet Ant is 5 years old now. The week after his birthday several of my old blog posts popped up into my timehop and it was fun and emotional to read my feeling during labor and the first week of his life.
I remember that first week being one of the hardest but best weeks of my life. I was finally a mother but Ant was in the NICU. Now he is a healthy 5 year old.
In the next couple weeks his life will completely change. He has been the center of our world and now he will be sharing us with his baby sister.
Also this fall he will be starting school It is very exciting but it is hard to believe he is school age already. Time has passed us by so quickly in the last 5 years.
For those who wonder how much he knows about his story, he knows the kid version. Mommy and Daddy needed help to have a baby and a nice lady donated an egg. The it was mixed together with Daddy and put in Mommy’s belly. We got to talk more about this when we were getting ready for our FET. I don’t ever want him to be ashamed of his conception 
or wonder about it. I want to be open and honest with him.
I also look forward to taking this journey again with baby V. I have enjoyed being a mom and truly looking forward to being a mom of two children. We are now in the final count down. She could join us any day now.
